Hand-painted Kindness Rocks Kindness rocks are rocks decorated with kind messages, inspirational quotes, or whimsical pictures and then hidden in public places. Kindness Rocks are created with the goal of spreading joy and positivity.
The Concept: Individuals decorate rocks with positive messages, images, or quotes, then leave them in parks or other public areas as abandoned art.
The Goal: The purpose is to bring a bit of joy and inspiration to others who find the rocks. In class we will learn how to transfer images to rocks, colour them in using Acrylic Paint Pens and how to seal them to make them long lasting. You will also be invited to a large online group of rock painters that hide their rocks in public places. People who find their rocks are also involved to come online and share what they find. It is a great way of sharing creativity, kindness and building friendships.
NO previous Art experience is required it is a great activity for everyone! All supplies required are provided in class.
