The Gympie Shed is an incorporated (IA4702399) not-for-profit charity organisation and we have achieved full DGR (Deductible Gift Recipients) status. This makes any donations made to us tax deductable. 

The Gympie Women’s Shed was established to be a charity whose purpose is to advance the health and well being of the Gympie Region residents by offering a gendered space to:

• Improve the health of women who are at risk of health issues arising from loneliness and isolation.
• Facilitate programs that address mental, physical and emotional health issues in women.
• Provide meaningful activities where women can participate in the company of others to relieve isolation and loneliness.
• Grow an inclusive community by utilising and sharing the strengths and skills of our members
• Undertake charitable activities for the benefit of the broader community.
