The Gympie Women’s Shed was delighted to take part in the Pavilion Community Expo on 17 July 2026.
The event provided a wonderful opportunity to share the story of the Gympie Women’s Shed, showcase some of the activities we offer and speak with members of the community about the supportive, creative and welcoming environment we aim to provide.
Throughout the day, our volunteers enjoyed meeting new people, answering questions and chatting with those interested in learning more about the Shed. It was especially encouraging to see so many people stop by our display, take an interest in our activities and consider becoming involved.
Events like the Pavilion Community Expo give local organisations an important opportunity to connect, share information and build stronger relationships within the community.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our members who generously volunteered their time to help with the display and represent the Gympie Women’s Shed. Their enthusiasm, knowledge and friendly welcome helped make the day such a positive experience.
