The Gympie Women’s Shed is proud to acknowledge and sincerely thank Gympie Regional Council for its generous support through the Community Grants Program.
This funding provided us with a wonderful opportunity to purchase a new fridge, eskies and a barbecue. These practical additions will make a significant difference to our volunteers and members when organising fundraising events and social gatherings.
As a not-for-profit organisation, fundraising is essential to the ongoing work of the Gympie Women’s Shed. The funds raised through our events help us provide inclusive activities that encourage connection, build confidence and support our mission of resilience and empowerment for women.
The equipment purchased through this grant will help us deliver future events more safely, efficiently and comfortably, while creating a warm and welcoming environment for our members and volunteers.
We are incredibly grateful to Gympie Regional Council for recognising the value of local community organisations and for continuing to support initiatives that strengthen connection, participation and wellbeing across our region.
